"The dreamers of the day are dangerous people, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible." - T.E. Lawrence
A businessman and an educationist got together and dreamt of creating an institution in which modern infrastructure and the latest technology could join hands with the richness of Indian culture and heritage in order to provide a harmonious teaching and learning environment for the children in Dwarka - an upcoming area of Delhi.
The businessman was Shri Attar Singh Mann and the educationist was Retd. Education Officer Shri Attar Singh Rana, who then established the Modern Charitable Foundation Trust alongwith a group of like-minded educationists, administrators, jurists, philosophers and other enlightened persons.
It was on the 1st of April 1999 that 4 students and one teacher walked into the portals of a semi pucca temporary structure built on a 4 acre plot of land and started an institution called 'The Modern Convent School'. Slowly, as the name of the school spread so did the strength of students and teachers.
It was on the 5th September 2000 that the foundation of the present school building was laid. The school was initially recognized by the Directorate of Education up to Class VIII on 25th October 2001 and later upgraded and affiliated to CBSE up to Class X on 17/7/2002
The new ,magnificent and ultra modern school building was inaugurated on 28th April 2003 by Dr. Sahib Singh Verma, Honorable Minister for Labour, Govt. of India. The school was recognized by the Directorate of Education and affiliated to CBSE up to Class XII on July 17, 2004.
